Our Digital Buildings Business creates integrated, multi-layered solutions that specialize in combining building services & intelligent automated systems. Our solutions enable owners, end users and custodians (such as; Commercial buildings, Hospitals and Data Centers), to intelligently monitor, meter and control the attributes of their assets in real time, reducing consumption and improving reliability and quality.

The Opportunity:

Based in Sydney, we have an opportunity for an individual to join the Schneider team in the capacity of Service Delivery Manager. Reporting to the Regional Services Manager you will build upon the branch reputation for excellent customer service and satisfaction. You will lead a team of service technicians, service engineers and other specialists with application knowledge in HVAC, controls, energy monitoring, management and efficiency, networking, security, cybersecurity and systems integration.

You will also identify opportunities to grow the business through field quotes and small works. It will be a challenging but highly rewarding position.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the service and maintenance activities delivered by your team, with a focus on client relationships and service delivery excellence.
  • Supporting the development and progression of all people within your team
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key customers to drive recurring work – maintenance, callouts, field quotes & SMWX.
  • Maintaining a high level of communication with staff to foster loyalty and retention whilst ensuring safe work practice compliance/safety, and performance.
  • Ensuring maintenance schedules for contracted sites are completed and closed out within the allocated month.
  • Running operational meetings with customers and technicians to review and follow up maintenance status, works in progress, outstanding quotes and outstanding invoices.
  • Managing and delivering on service operations’ key metrics including utilisation, maintenance commitment and NPS.
  • Working closely with the team of service engineers to provide technical advice and support.

In addition, you possess the following relevant skills:

  • Tertiary/trade qualifications in an engineering related discipline or Tertiary qualification in business.
  • Exposure to contract and portfolio management, including financial accountability and delivery against key outcomes.
  • Understand the technical operations of customer sites and offer value-added solutions and proposals for improvement.
  • Have strong communication skills and will be expected to deliver value propositions.
  • Support tender submissions, presentations and training activities for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators are met across the team.
  • Excellent report writing and delivery skills.
  • Strong PC skills in Excel; Word & Office.
  • Sound organisation and time management skills.
  • High-level understanding of NABERS, energy, water and indoor environment quality principles (preferred).
  • High-level understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) (preferred).
  • High-level understanding of Information Technology (IT) principles, including cybersecurity, networking and server infrastructure (preferred).
