About the role:

As a Senior Analyst within our Valuations team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality services across a broad range of industries and clients. You'll assist in managing small to medium engagements, contribute to larger and more complex projects, and work closely with senior team members to provide commercially focused advice and analysis. This role offers significant exposure to transaction-related work, independent expert reports, financial reporting valuations, and expert witness matters, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a well-rounded career in Corporate Finance.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Prepare business and equity valuations for mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions
• Assist with the preparation of Independent Expert Reports for ASIC and ASX purposes
• Support the preparation of Expert Witness Reports for litigation and family law matters
• Assist in the preparation of Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) valuation reports for business acquisition accounting
• Prepare valuations of options and other financial instruments and derivatives
• Conduct industry, market and company research to support valuation engagements
• Assist with engagement planning, project delivery and assignment administration
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

About you:

You are a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering quality outcomes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and are eager to further develop your valuation and corporate finance expertise. You'll bring:

• A Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
• 2-4 years' experience within a professional services environment in a similar role
• Valuations experience, preferably within Corporate Finance, Advisory or Consulting
• Completed or near-completed CA qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
