You may have seen our previous advertisement for this role as a fixed-term opportunity. That position was created to provide additional support while we navigated significant changes to public sector recruitment and assessment requirements. The good news? The demand for this capability hasn't gone away. We're now excited to make this role a permanent addition to our team, reflecting the important role assessment and selection play in delivering better recruitment outcomes for our clients and candidates.

This isn't your typical recruitment role. While you'll be involved in generalist recruitment activities, we're particularly interested in your experience in the design and development of assessment materials and selection methodologies. As a Recruitment Consultant in our recruitment team, you'll help create assessment approaches that are engaging, robust, fair and fit for purpose. From entry-level positions through to senior leadership appointments, you'll work with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify the right approach for each role.

You'll play an important role in supporting organisational growth while helping hiring managers identify exceptional talent through contemporary assessment and selection practices. You’ll make a positive impact by:

• Developing structured interview guides, work sample exercises, presentations and assessment centre activities
• Partnering with hiring managers to identify assessment approaches that align with role requirements
• Managing recruitment processes across a variety of positions and classification levels
• Advising stakeholders on contemporary selection methodologies and recruitment practices
• Continuously improving assessment approaches to support fair, effective and consistent recruitment outcomes

• Experience in recruitment, ideally within an internal recruitment, Government or public sector environment
• Experience working with recruitment systems and data, combined with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• The ability to create assessment tools for a variety of role types and classification levels
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence providing expert recruitment and selection advice
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and high attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset and passion for delivering great recruitment outcomes
