About The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Project Supervisor to join Programmed, responsible for supporting the planning, design, and delivery of minor capital projects for a key water authority client across Greater Metropolitan of Melbourne.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Supervisor is accountable for coordination of onsite subcontractors and technicians and leading from the front by displaying a commitment to safety and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity where you will contribute to the team by building relationships with key contacts, stakeholders and service providers while ensuring the scheduled delivery of small to medium value Works across multiple sites. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Brooklyn.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive safety across all site activities, employees and subcontractors
• Review and manage safety and operational documentation to meet site and client requirements
• Monitor and inspect works to ensure quality standards and completion requirements are met
• Respond to and coordinate reactive priority works, including scoping and pricing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Coordinate and engage with subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered effectively

About You

• Prior experience in a construction or facilities management
• Previous experience in a supervisory or people management position
• Trade background (highly desirable)
• Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating subcontractors
• Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance and safety requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
