Department Overview

Kickstart your Commercial Management career by working alongside experienced Commercial Managers. You will gain broad exposure to diverse projects and contracts, supporting our team across the entire commercial lifecycle—from evaluating new deal structures and commercial risks to managing the ongoing performance of active contracts.

Discover how a global technology enterprise operates, gaining insight into corporate structures and how we serve customers locally and globally. You will learn firsthand how complex B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2G (Business-to-Government) deals are negotiated and managed—the core function of our Commercial team. By facilitating cross-functional communication, you will keep teams aligned as you build your commercial foundation.

Job Description

• Contract Administration: Track key milestones, log supplier updates, and ensure meticulous commercial record-keeping.
• Contract Variations: Research background information and draft initial documentation for contract variations and amendments.
• Deal/Variation Financials: Gather financial inputs and review commercial outputs to support contract variations and deal structures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a commercial liaison across Legal, Finance, Service Delivery, and Procurement to ensure daily alignment.
• Governance Support: Compile data packs, conduct background research, and summarise key insights ahead of negotiations.
• Process Improvement: Identify workflow bottlenecks and proactively pitch administrative process improvements to the team.

Basic Requirements

Education & Qualifications

While you must be a recent or prospective university graduate, no single degree perfectly prepares you for this career; we value curiosity, potential, and drive above all.

A degree or studying towards a degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is highly regarded.

Ability to pass a standard Australian Police Security Clearance.
