Clinical Nurse/Midwife | Special Care Nursery & Women's Health
North West Hospital
Permanent Part-Time | 64 hours per fortnight

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated dual Registered Nurse and Midwife that is ready to step into a key leadership role within our Special Care Nursery.

As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife, you will be required to act as a team leader, professional resource, passionate mentor, and a positive role model to junior team members. You will maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and manage rapidly changing situations with proficiency and care.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings compassion, professionalism, and teamwork to every shift. You’ll have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
• Minimum of 4 years' recent relevant clinical experience in Midwifery
• Competency in IV insertion, CTG interpretation and epidural management
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance
• Postgraduate qualification in Midwifery or related specialty (desirable)

Remuneration: On offer for this role is a base hourly rate of $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife Level 2.1 - Level 2.4*)

Additional Information

Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
