About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at South Wharf DFO. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate retail leader who thrives on developing talent, elevating the customer experience, and driving commercial success. As Assistant Store Manager, you will partner with the Store Manager to drive business performance while creating an exceptional customer experience. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, inspire your team to achieve results, and help cultivate a positive and engaging store culture. This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to coach, motivate and develop people will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in delivering sales, KPI and profitability targets
• Lead and inspire the team to provide exceptional customer experiences
• Coach, develop and mentor team members to maximise performance
• Drive clienteling initiatives and build long-term customer relationships
• Ensure visual merchandising and brand standards are consistently maintained
• Support inventory management, loss prevention and operational compliance
• Analyse business results and identify opportunities for growth
• Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing team environment

About You

• Previous experience in a retail leadership role, ideally as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or Senior Team Leader
• Passion for fashion, luxury retail and customer service excellence
• Strong sales leadership and commercial acumen
• Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Flexible availability across weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods
