You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.

You will:

• Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks.
• Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies.
• Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director).
• Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers.

More about this role

This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the COGS P&L. It combines financial planning, forecasting, and cost controllership with strong cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing and supply chain teams. Unlike traditional reporting roles, this position plays a forward-looking role in shaping cost structures, margins, and key business decisions.

What you need to know about this position:

As a Senior Analyst – CS&L and External Manufacturing, you will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance, managing operational budgets, and supporting key decision-making for our plant operations. This role is to maintaining financial discipline and driving efficiency across external manufacturing operations.

1. Plant Compliance & Financial Control
   • Ensure internal controls and compliance across plant operations.
   • Manage monthly financial book closures with accuracy and timeliness.
2. Budget Management (Forecasting & Decision Support)
   • Prepare, finalize, and upload the annual plant budgets into SAP systems.
   • Monitor budgetary performance and ensure alignment with financial goals.
   • Analyze actuals vs plan/forecast and highlight key variances.
   • Provide structured insights on cost performance and efficiency levers.
   • Ensure strong financial rigor in monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
3. Factory & Cross-functional Collaboration
   • Work closely with plant teams to identify and drive cost-saving initiatives.
   • Support standardization, harmonization, and efficiency improvement programs.
   • Partner with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams on cost optimization.
4. General Ledger and Reconciliation
   • Prepare and reconcile general ledger balances to ensure accuracy in reporting.
   • Consolidate and review scrap losses, driving accountability across operations.
5. Cost Analysis and Reporting
   • Conduct detailed cost variance analyses and present findings to plant operations teams.
   • Monitor and review plant KPIs, prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports, and discuss actionable insights with the leadership team.
6. Audit and Taxation
   • Coordinate stock and fixed asset audits to ensure compliance.
   • Provide central support on taxation matters related to plant operations.

Education / Certifications:

Degree in Accounting and Finance or Professionally qualified (eg: ACCA/CMA/CPA)

Job specific requirements:

Minimum 5 years of accounting and analyst experience. SAP experience (modules: PP/Costing, COPA and FI). Excel (eg: formulas like lookups, sumif, average, min, max, concatenate; pivot tables; charts). Sound grasp of accounting principles and standards. Experience in performing closing activities, analysis and business partnering. Learns fast, independent, resourceful, proactive, analytical, adaptable, commercially savvy, attention to detail and drive. Able to work with cross functional colleagues (Accounting and External Reporting team, Regional FP&A teams, outsourcing partners, commercial colleagues) whether face to face or virtually via Microsoft Teams. Demonstrated that you are willing and able to overcome challenges, adapt to/manage change and be a part of the solution. Finance experience in manufacturing and Sales and Service Tax (SST) is an advantage.
