The impact you’ll make

Lead and evolve Lam Research's Corporate Meetings & Events capability through a balanced player-coach approach that combines strategic leadership, team development and direct event execution. This role is accountable for building a scalable operating model, leading high-visibility events, owning the Cvent platform strategy, and delivering exceptional employee and business experiences.

What you’ll do

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and evolve the Meetings & Events strategy, service model and operating framework.
• Establish scalable processes, governance and standards supporting future growth.
• Partner with HR, Facilities, Travel, Catering, Procurement, Admin Community, Communications and business leaders.
• Develop and maintain various vendor relationships.

Event Planning & Execution

• Lead high-profile executive meetings, leadership events, employee engagement programs and strategic business events.
• Provide hands-on event planning, budgeting, sourcing, logistics and onsite execution support.
• Serve as escalation point for complex or business-critical events.
• Consult and develop meeting & event best practices across the organization.

Event Technology & Cvent Leadership

• Own the Meetings & Events technology ecosystem with primary responsibility for Cvent strategy, administration, adoption and optimization.
• Implement standardized registration, attendee communications, event websites, surveys, sourcing and reporting through Cvent.
• Develop dashboards and analytics providing visibility to event volume, spend, utilization and outcomes.
• Drive enterprise adoption of Cvent and identify opportunities to centralize event activity through technology-enabled workflows.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead, coach and develop the Corporate Events Planner.
• Build organizational capability and scalable resource models.

Financial Stewardship & Governance

• Manage budgets, contracts, suppliers and preferred vendor strategy.
• Improve spend visibility, compliance and event governance.

Who we’re looking for

Success Measures - First 12 Months

• Establish a documented Meetings & Events operating model and service catalog.
• Increase adoption and utilization of Cvent as the standard event management platform.
• Develop executive reporting dashboard for event volume, attendance, spend and outcomes.
• Successfully onboard and lead the Corporate Events Planner.
• Improve event governance, supplier management and spend visibility.
• Deliver high stakeholder satisfaction across executive, employee engagement and business events.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
