Job Description

Job Description:

At National Church Residences, every role connects to one mission: enriching the lives of seniors and their families. In construction, that mission takes physical form. The communities you build and renovate become homes where seniors live with dignity, often at a price they can afford. As our Senior Construction Administrator, you'll lead our highest-profile new-build and renovation projects from preconstruction through warranty. You'll also help shape how our entire Construction Department works.

The basics

  • Schedule: Full-time, hybrid (Monday and Friday remote)
  • Location: Based in Dublin, OH, with about 70% travel to project sites
  • Reports to: VP of Design & Construction Management

What you'll do

  • Manage high-risk and LIHTC projects end to end, owning the budget, schedule, contingency, and quality
  • Serve as the owner's representative with architects, general contractors, HUD, housing agencies, syndicators, and inspectors
  • Lead preconstruction meetings and resident "meet and greets," so residents living through a renovation know what to expect
  • Attend draw meetings and monthly project updates, and keep operations, relocation, and FF&E teams informed on schedules
  • See projects through closeout, including certificates of occupancy, substantial completion, warranty inspections, and as-builts
  • Uphold our design standards and LEED/green requirements throughout construction
  • Help lead the department by running team meetings, balancing workloads with the VP, and standardizing procedures and documentation

What success looks like

Projects delivered on time, on budget, and to standard, and a Construction Department that runs on clear, consistent processes.

What you need

  • 4+ years of construction or project management experience
  • Experience in multi-family construction
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel about 70%
  • Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and schedules at once, and building consensus among stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience in affordable housing, LIHTC, or HUD-financed projects
  • Experience in senior living or healthcare construction
  • LEED accreditation a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and web-based construction management platforms

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, military status, disability, genetic information and/or any other characteristics protected by applicable law.
