We are the people who give possibilities purpose. BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Advancing the world of health™ is our Purpose, and it’s no small feat. It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.
How Revenue Operations/Commercial Excellence contributes to BD At BD, the US Revenue Operations & Commercial Excellence team (US ROCx) exists to turn insights into action — enabling commercial excellence and improving how we serve customers and drive growth. We support the company's three priorities: competing in the market, delivering reliably, and innovating faster.
How we work matters as much as what we deliver. Our culture is built on three beliefs: Better Everyday (we improve continuously through focus and action), Own It (we lead with accountability and transparency), and Win Together (we're strategic partners driving value and impact). We lead by example, connect with others, celebrate success, and stay thoughtful and responsive rather than reactive.
One purpose. One team. One impact.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Sales Operations, this role supports U.S. Sales Operations by helping coordinate proactive new hire readiness, on/offboarding effectiveness, vendor credentialing activities, integration/divestiture support, and process optimizations. The role contributes to new hire and transfer readiness by identifying potential gaps, following up on open items, escalating barriers as appropriate, and helping improve the associate and manager experience. Because small errors or delays can affect access, customer support, and field readiness, this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to recognize issues quickly, and prompt action to address or escalate concerns. It supports outcomes such as timely system access, credentialing readiness, fewer avoidable escalations, consistent process execution, and stronger stakeholder visibility while completing required transactions accurately and on time. This role partners with Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, business leaders, HR, IT, T&E, Legal/Contracts, and various third-party suppliers to support service expectations and timely issue resolution.
This fast-paced support role requires strong organization, follow-through, sound judgment, proactive communication, and a high level of accuracy. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, tech-savvy, comfortable working across functions, and able to prioritize work based on timing, readiness impact, stakeholder needs, and the urgency of issues requiring immediate attention.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of assigned work, follows through on open items, and understands how timely, accurate execution supports new hire readiness and field productivity. This person communicates clearly with managers and associates, reinforces process expectations, detects readiness risks or data issues early, and takes prompt action to resolve or escalate concerns within established guidelines.
By supporting accurate, timely, and proactive onboarding and credentialing activities, this role helps new hires become productive faster, reduces preventable disruptions, improves manager and associate experience, and strengthens visibility to readiness milestones that affect field productivity and customer access.
Support customer access and field continuity by helping maintain vendor credentialing readiness, reviewing requirements, monitoring potential compliance concerns, and sharing best practices. Help reduce credentialing disruptions by resolving account setup, registration, renewal, deactivation, documentation, discrepancy, and access issues with agencies and hospital customers. Support supplier approval by assisting with vendor credentialing registration and vetting activities required for customer access. Improve readiness visibility and auditability by maintaining accurate credentialing files, databases, and documentation that help prevent downstream delays, rework, or missed requirements. Help reduce contractual and compliance risk by reviewing vendor credentialing terms, flagging concerns, supporting exception requests within guidelines, and escalating issues to Contracts/Legal as required. Serve as a liaison between Sales Operations, field teams, and Legal/Contracts on credentialing terms and conditions that impact the program. Support timely customer access by facilitating approved exceptions to standard terms and conditions within established parameters. Support consistent adoption and compliance by maintaining process documentation, training materials, and stakeholder resources. Perform regular credentialing account audits to ensure compliance and ongoing account usage.
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to providing cross-coverage to other areas within Sales Operations support. Occasional out-of-state travels might be required for this position to accommodate training and/or other team meetings.
This role is required to comply to BD’s hybrid work guidelines, and departmental requirements are subject to change.
This is a Monday to Friday day shift position. The schedule will be determined based on business needs and may change from time to time within day shift core hours. Occasional overtime may be required based on workload.
