Role: Junior Electrical Engineer / PCB Design

Job Description: Our client is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer with a focus on PCB design to join their team in Houston, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career engineer to grow hands-on experience in circuit design and embedded systems. The role offers flexibility, with hybrid or remote arrangements available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop PCB layouts and schematics using industry-standard tools.
• Hands-on role ideal for recent graduates with robotics, embedded systems, internship, or university project experience.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of PCB design principles, including layout, routing, and signal integrity.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design software (such as Altium, KiCad, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or electronics fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience through internships, co-ops, university labs, robotics projects, or hands-on electronics work.
• Medical device, medical quality, or regulatory experience is a plus but not required.
