Position Overview:

The Director, Global Security Programs is responsible for developing and executing the organization's global physical security technology roadmap, and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) program. Reporting to the VP, Global Security & Environmental Health & Safety, this role leads the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise security programs that protect employees, facilities, assets, and critical business operations.

The Director serves as the functional leader for physical security systems, including access control, CCTV systems, badging operations, visitor management, alarm monitoring, and related security technologies. The role also provides strategic and operational leadership for the GSOC, ensuring effective monitoring, intelligence gathering, incident management, crisis notification, and operational support capabilities. The GSOC will supporting organizational operations across the globe. This position requires a blend of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder influence to drive systems integration, standardization, modernization, and resilience across the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, implementation, administration, and lifecycle management of enterprise security technologies and GSOC
• Lead global programs supporting: access control systems; access management CCTV/video surveillance systems; video management and analytics platforms; badging administration; visitor management systems; intrusion detection and alarm monitoring systems; emergency communication and mass notification platforms
• Drive standardization of security technologies across all sites and regions
• Lead system integrations with enterprise platforms including HR, facilities, and identity management systems
• Oversee major security technology projects, upgrades, migrations, and deployments
• Establish GSOC operating procedures, service standards, performance metrics, and escalation protocols
• Lead the development of a 24/7 monitoring and intelligence capability
• Manage travel risk management for all corporate travelers, including international
• Oversee incident intake, triage, escalation, and response coordination processes

Minimum Job Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience. 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience

Specialized Knowledge / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, Public Administration, Homeland Security, or a related field
• CPP, PSP, or other relevant professional designations preferred
• Experience administering and governing enterprise physical security platforms such as LenelS2 OnGuard, ProWatch, Genetec Security Center, CCURE 9000, Gallagher, or equivalent systems
• Prior experience in law enforcement, federal service, intelligence, military security, or corporate security leadership roles
• Advanced understanding of access control architecture, credential lifecycle management, and identity integration
• Strong expertise in enterprise video management systems (MaxPro, Milestone, Avigilon, Bosch, etc.) and IP-based video surveillance infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience leading security system design, deployment, integration, migration, and optimization initiatives
• Experience implementing and managing GSOC technologies, including: Alarm monitoring platforms, Incident management systems, Threat intelligence tools, Mass notification systems, Situational awareness platforms, Case management and reporting solutions

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position $121,500 - $202,500
