The Director, Community Troop Program provides strategic leadership, management, and oversight for the Community Troop Program department and all related activities. The position is responsible for the strategic plan in support of future growth and expansion and provides oversight of all areas of planning, delivery, and employee development pertaining to the Community Troop Program. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required. Four (4) years of experience with external recruitment and retention, program design and delivery, and supervising a team. Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance carrier. Red Cross First/CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain such within 6 months of employment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time operating a computer, including navigating websites, software platforms, spreadsheets and both electronic and paper documents. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier, and computer printer. Occasionally positions self to maintain files in file cabinets. May need to move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across office for various needs. The ability to observe details at close range and at a distance. Is required to drive/operate an automobile.
Constantly works in an indoor professional office environment. Exposed to moderate noise levels.
This position has direct reporting responsibilities.
