  • Partner cross-functionally: Work with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design partners on well-scoped questions, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Build core data science skills: Learn ML fundamentals and basic causal inference concepts as applied to banking use cases, with close guidance from senior team members.
  • Run experiments: Design and execute standard A/B tests with increasing independence; assist senior data scientists on more complex experimental designs (A/B/n, quasi-experimental approaches) as exposure and learning opportunities.
  • Support AI-native initiatives: Assist in testing and evaluating new analytics/AI approaches for banking, under senior guidance, and help translate model outputs into clear metrics.
  • Build technical skills & collaborate: Seek feedback and mentorship from senior data scientists, contribute to peer reviews, and share learnings with teammates as you grow your expertise.

Requirement:

We're looking for a curious, proactive data scientist with an interest in fintech. 4–6 years of experience in data science and analytics; exposure to fintech (banking, lending, payments) is a plus but not required. Ability to break down well-defined, well-scoped business questions into analytical problems, with support on more ambiguous ones. Experience designing and interpreting standard A/B tests. Basic familiarity with causal inference concepts (e.g., has been exposed to or assisted with methods like PSM or DiD); no independent ownership expected at this level. Solid communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to immediate team members and stakeholders. Comfort working in a structured environment with support from senior team members on prioritization and more complex decisions. Familiarity with AI-native tools to support day-to-day analyses such as experiment readouts and reporting. BS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field.

Skills:
