Guided by a commitment to dignity, respect, and service, LSC strives to empower those we serve and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
One of LSC's Child and Family communities is seeking a part-time Case Aide to support Refugee Services programs.
The Case Aide provides essential technical and administrative support to Case Managers and Employment Specialists within the Refugee Services program. This position helps ensure the timely and efficient delivery of services by assisting with documentation, data entry, referrals, research, file management, and other administrative duties. The Case Aide plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in supporting refugee families while helping maintain compliance with funder and grant reporting requirements.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Experience: Previous work experience in refugee resettlement, social services, human services, or related direct service fields preferred. Interest in refugee resettlement and serving diverse populations strongly desired.
Hybrid work environment consisting of office-based and remote work. Frequent computer use and administrative responsibilities. Ability to move throughout office and community locations. Local travel required for client support and program activities. Occasional airport pickups for newly arriving clients. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
At LSC, you'll help support refugee and immigrant families as they build new lives in North and South Carolina. By providing critical administrative and program support, you'll play an important role in helping clients access services, achieve stability, and successfully integrate into their communities. If you are organized, compassionate, and passionate about serving others, we encourage you to apply today. Lutheran Services Carolinas is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
