The Assistant Director supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of center programs and events, including but not limited to the Healthcare Speaker Series, Booth Healthcare Fellowship Program, Healthcare Scholar-in-Residence, Healthcare Research Brown Bags, and alumni events. In this role, the Assistant Director partners with other departments, supports cross-campus collaborations, sustains alumni and external stakeholder connections, and advances the Tolan Center’s strategic priorities. In addition to day-to-day management of a portfolio of programs, as a member of a small, high-impact team, the Assistant Director will provide logistical support as needed for other center initiatives. This is a hybrid position, based on the Hyde Park campus with occasional travel to the Gleacher Center and off-campus events.

Bachelor’s degree.
Background in program or project management, events, and/or business administration. Advising or mentoring students and managing student-facing programs. Demonstrated experience and interest in healthcare.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Learn and gain comfort with new software and AI-enabled workflows.
This position is currently expected to work a minimum three days per week in the office. Flexibility to travel locally and staff morning/evening/weekend events.
