Accounting manager

Cherry Bekaert Staffing and Recruiting is searching for a Hands-On Accounting Manager for a project-based opportunity outside of Richmond, VA. Candidate should be available to be on site 3 days per week from 8:30-5 for approximately 2-4 months.

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Hands-on reconciliations and journal entries into the ERP system
• Variance analysis
• Tasks for year-end Audit readiness
• Responding to requests from external auditors
• Other duties as assigned

Candidates should have the following background:

• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Self-directed personality
• Ability to take the ball and get work accomplished
• NetSuite experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to be comfortable with hands on experience directed from Controller and Asst. Controller
• Good technical skills in software and Microsoft Suite
