Terberg Automotive Software Development Team, Netherlands
Talcom is expanding its engineering team in Serbia for Terberg Automotive and is looking for a Frontend Developer with experience in Blazor, Angular and C#/.NET. You will join a team of six developers based in the Netherlands. The team currently includes one Frontend Developer, with whom you will work on the user interfaces of Terberg Automotive's Connected Services applications. Approximately 80% of the role focuses on frontend development using Blazor, Angular, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The remaining 20% involves working with C# and .NET, including API integration, understanding backend functionality and making adjustments where required. Your work will involve developing application structures, page layouts, navigation, forms and UI components.
Terberg Automotive is part of the Terberg Group, a family owned industrial group with more than 150 years of history. The group operates in 14 countries from more than 40 locations and manufactures vehicles and equipment for several industries. Terberg Automotive develops software for vehicles and machines used across the Terberg Group, including waste collection trucks and terminal tractors operating in ports and logistics facilities. These vehicles contain onboard computers, sometimes referred to as black boxes, that collect data from the vehicle and its equipment. The onboard systems communicate with software platforms, allowing fleet managers and operators to access vehicle information from their offices. Examples of information available through these applications include: GPS locations and vehicle movements, Planned and completed routes, Vehicle usage and operating hours, Waste collection activities, including container lifting and tipping, Route efficiency and performance, Equipment usage, Vehicle history and incident information, Vehicle damage and incident locations. Customers use this information to monitor fleets, analyse operations, plan routes and investigate incidents. The Frontend Developer builds the application interfaces through which users access and interact with this information. Data processing, analysis and data engineering are handled by other team members.
We are looking for a developer whose main experience is in frontend development rather than backend engineering. You should have experience building web applications with Blazor and Angular, including UI components, application layouts, navigation and forms. Knowledge of C# and .NET is required to work with backend services and understand the application architecture.
Talcom already supports Terberg with engineers in the following teams: Support Team, Server Team, Dynamics Support Team, Data Team. You will work from the Talcom Hub in Novi Sad and collaborate with the Terberg Automotive development team in the Netherlands. The position is part of the ongoing collaboration between Talcom and Terberg.
We are looking for a Frontend Developer with a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least three years of professional Blazor experience, experience with Angular and working knowledge of C# and .NET. You will contribute to the development of applications used to access and manage information from Terberg vehicles and equipment.
