The Impact You Will Make in This Role

As an Advanced Wound Care Clinical Specialist, you will help improve clinical practice by providing education, technical guidance and support to healthcare professionals managing complex wounds. You will work closely with the Iberia clinical and commercial teams, contributing scientific expertise and supporting the safe and effective use of our solutions.

Company Vehicle

This position requires frequent travel and the use of a company vehicle. The selected candidate must successfully complete the applicable driving record review before employment and on an ongoing basis while in the role.

Your Skills and Expertise

We are looking for a nursing professional with proven clinical experience in the management of complex wounds and excellent communication and training skills. Experience or formal education in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance and technical support to healthcare professionals in the comprehensive management of complex wounds.
• Deliver product demonstrations and clinical education in hospitals, both in person and virtually.
• Support the implementation and follow-up of clinical protocols related to advanced wound care.
• Design, develop and deliver educational programmes for healthcare professionals, commercial teams and other internal stakeholders.
• Partner with the sales team during customer visits, identify clinical needs and support the development of business opportunities.
• Participate in product evaluations, workshops, clinical sessions and medical education activities.
• Attend and actively support relevant national congresses, conferences and scientific meetings as required by the business.
• Provide technical and clinical support for tenders, public procurement processes and the introduction of new technologies.
• Participate in local and international training programmes across EMEA.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical, scientific and technical knowledge of complex wounds, complication prevention and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy.
• Record and manage activity using corporate tools, Microsoft Office and CRM systems, including Salesforce.
• Be available to travel regularly throughout Spain and Portugal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent higher qualification, with current professional registration where applicable.
• Proven clinical experience in the treatment and follow-up of patients with complex wounds.
• Strong knowledge of wound assessment, wound bed preparation, complication prevention and selection of appropriate therapeutic solutions.
• Experience or knowledge of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering clinical education and the ability to adapt content for different professional audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise activities and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Spanish and Portuguese are desirable.
• Good level of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and willingness to use CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Work Location:

Hybrid, with an on-site base in Lisbon or Porto and availability to travel throughout Iberia according to business needs.
