Credit & Collections Specialist

The O2C Credit & Collections Specialist ensures accurate, compliant, and timely execution of credit, collections, and customer Accounts Receivable activities across assigned markets. The role focuses on processing customer transactions, monitoring credit exposure, resolving account discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with Credit & Collection, Anti-Money Laundering, and JSOX requirements. The Specialist is expected to manage customer accounts with precision, collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, and support continuous improvement across the Order-to-Cash process.

As the Credit & Collections Specialist in JTI GBS Manila you will:

• Process customer receipts, AR clearings, invoices, credit notes, bad debt write-offs, and other Credit & Collections transactions in SAP.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and reconciliation activities for Distributor Partners, Key Accounts, and other assigned customers.
• Monitor sales orders on hold, assess customer credit risk, and support appropriate credit decisions.
• Track customer inquiries and investigate Credit & Collections issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Complete month-end activities within established closing timelines, ensuring all documents and transactions are properly validated and processed.
• Ensure compliance with Credit & Collection policies, Anti-Money Laundering requirements, operating guidelines, internal controls, and JSOX standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely operational reports, analyses, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and service delivery across the Order-to-Cash process.
• Support SAP testing, cross-functional initiatives, and local or global projects as required.
• Partner with customers, markets, and internal teams to resolve concerns and provide guidance on Accounts Receivable matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Two to four years of relevant experience in Credit & Collections, Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations, or a similar environment.
• Experience with SAP HANA and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal and external customers.
• Proactive, accountable, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
