A Day in the Life

The Event Management team supports internal stakeholders across Medtronic by coordinating customer-facing events, training programs, and educational activities. The team acts as a key business partner, ensuring events are planned and executed in compliance with company policies and applicable industry requirements while delivering a high level of service to internal and external participants.

This position is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and operates in a hybrid work environment, combining office-based collaboration with remote working. The role involves close interaction with internal business partners, healthcare professionals, and cross-functional teams to ensure event requests are successfully delivered from initiation through completion.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end event administration for internal and external meetings, trainings, and educational programs.
• Create and manage event records and documentation within Cvent and other required systems.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal requesters and participating healthcare professionals throughout the event process.
• Monitor event requirements, documentation, and approvals to ensure timely completion and compliance.
• Prioritize and distribute incoming event requests in collaboration with team members.
• Respond to event-related inquiries and resolve administrative issues affecting event delivery.
• Partner with sales and business stakeholders to support new event requests and ongoing activities.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance team efficiency, quality, and service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• MBO+ diploma OR HBO degree with experience in event coordination, administrative operations, customer support, or a related business function.
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills, written and verbal.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications in a business environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Cvent for event management and coordination.
• Experience with SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Salesforce Lightning, or similar business applications.
• Experience coordinating healthcare, medical education, training, or corporate events.
• Experience supporting compliance-driven administrative processes.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
