Job Description

We are looking for a Community Manager to build and lead our presence across UGC platforms, with a primary focus on Reddit. You will define Surfshark’s strategy for community-led spaces and own the hands-on execution.

If you want to:

  • Audit how AI-powered tools like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Gemini characterize the brand;
  • Define goals and set up a strategy for Reddit and other high-authority platforms to shape brand sentiment and organic visibility;
  • Dive into Reddit threads, and online communities and actively participate in the conversations;
  • Evaluate and implement monitoring and automation tools that make your efforts smarter and impact more measurable.

And you can check off:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Reddit (moderation, community building, or brand participation);
  • An understanding of how UGC platforms influence brand reputation;
  • High-level strategic judgment on when to engage and how to maintain credibility in sensitive spaces;
  • Fluent English with the ability to adapt your writing style to platform-specific norms;
  • Comfort balancing high-level strategy with daily execution in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points if you:

  • Are familiar with other community and/or authority publishing platforms;
  • Have a background in the cybersecurity or technology industry.
