SS&C Financial Services (Ireland) Limited are seeking candidates with a strong fund accounting background for a Director level role in its Dublin office. The Fund Accounting Director is responsible for leadership and oversight within the Fund Accounting team, as well as playing a lead role in the strategic direction of fund accounting operations within the Dublin office. The role has overall responsibility for the accuracy, quality and timely delivery of NAVs, financial reporting and Irish regulatory reporting, while maintaining a strong control environment and ensuring compliance with local regulatory, accounting and client requirements.
Successful candidates are expected to combine strong technical fund-accounting expertise with people leadership, client management, operational risk management and strategic transformation skills, with a strong focus on automation. The position typically involves significant interaction with senior client stakeholders, auditors, depositaries, investment managers, regulators, compliance, risk, technology, and other operational functions.
Extensive experience within fund accounting, fund administration, asset servicing or investment operations, including significant senior-management experience. A relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CAIA, CFA, and CIMA is desirable. The successful candidate should demonstrate experience in several of the following:
