Project Role Description: Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.

Summary:

As an Operations Engineer, your day typically involves overseeing the smooth functioning of production systems and services, ensuring they meet operational requirements and service agreements. You will be actively engaged in monitoring system performance, addressing any issues that arise, and coordinating with various teams to maintain service reliability. Your role is pivotal in managing the delivery aspects of operations, ensuring that all processes align with organizational standards and client expectations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement to support seamless service operations.

Technical Skills:

• Exchange Admin Center (EAC): Configuring mailbox-level policies and folder-specific rules.
• PowerShell Scripting: Automating retention policy assignments and bulk updates.
• Outlook Client Knowledge: Understanding how retention tags appear to end-users and how they can apply them manually.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

• Risk Assessment: Evaluating the impact of retaining vs. deleting data.
• Policy Optimization: Ensuring retention settings don’t lead to unnecessary storage costs or data loss.

Regulatory Awareness:

• Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, or local data protection laws that dictate retention requirements.
• Information Governance: Balancing business needs with compliance obligations.
• Audit & Reporting: Skills in monitoring policy effectiveness and generating compliance reports.

Shift Details:

• 24*7 shift
• RTO- 3 days office presence

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Exchange Online. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full time education is required.
