We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Tax Auditor to join our Tax Services team in Athens and help us deliver excellence for our clients.

About the role

As an Assistant Tax Auditor, you will work on tax audit engagements, collaborating with your team, gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical knowledge in tax compliance and regulatory procedures.

Your role will include:

• Supporting the execution of tax audit procedures in accordance with applicable tax regulations
• Collecting, reviewing and analyzing financial and tax-related data
• Assisting in the preparation of working papers and audit documentation
• Applying technology tools in the performance of tax audit procedures
• Staying up to date with current tax regulations and developments
• Contributing to effective communication with clients and internal teams

What we are looking for

BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field (MSc will be considered an asset)

1- 2 years of relevant experience in an audit or accounting firm

Exposure to tax-related projects or completion of the Tax Seminar provided by AUEB is a plus

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)

Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Team player with strong communication and critical thinking skills

Positive attitude, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility

Willingness to learn and continuously develop
