Client manager - offshore construction

Aon is currently recruiting a Client Manager to join the Offshore Construction team within the Natural Resources division of our Global Broking Centre.

The role is accountable for the day-to-day running of the account (service) and can include specific objectives for client retention, new existing and new/new business development.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

What the day will look like

• Client relationship management (direct clients and/or network)
• Client meetings
• Insurer and underwriter meetings and relationship development
• Present terms to client/network
• Review / create underwriter submission
• Review / produce draft/final MRC
• Providing placement advice to clients
• Assist and/or deliver tenders
• Review & resolve invoicing queries
• Support development goals and day to day functions of Offshore Construction team

Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

As a Client Manager, you will be part of a team delivering the servicing and prospecting of clients, client visits and assisting the subsequent placement strategy in conjunction with our retail colleagues. Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Experience within the insurance industry – Energy experience would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
• Ability to utilise and learn IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good understanding of compliance and regulation
• Desire to manage client relationships
