We're the AI-native customer experience platform built in Norway, trusted across Europe, and growing fast. For 25 years we've helped contact centres deliver faster, more human service — without the clutter or complexity. Today we're #1 in the Nordics, scaling rapidly in the UK and the Netherlands, with one ambition: become Europe's clear CX market leader.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll be fully engaged in product development: bringing relevant features to customers, improving production code, and collaborating across functions to create next-generation CX products.
More specifically, you’ll work in the Conversational Intelligence (CI) team. Our CI product analyses customer interactions and provides automated, easy-to-use insights that help address knowledge gaps and inefficiencies and unlock opportunities across the entire organisation. To do that, our product relies on seamlessly pulling new and updated data from other systems, and a key part of this role is right there: taking ownership of some of our integrations and APIs, not only maintaining them but also modernising and improving how they are built.
You won’t be tackling challenges alone. We put a strong emphasis on collaboration and on creating an environment that supports your personal and professional growth. We expect you to be proactive, curious and a team player, and to contribute to our workplace atmosphere in your own unique way.
This role is based in Aarhus, with an expectation of 3–4 days a week in our downtown office. We value flexibility and working from home is common practice, but the office is open all week. We have great coffee, beverages, lunch, weekly breakfasts, Friday bars and an informal, inclusive atmosphere.
We want everyone at Puzzel to feel able to be their true, authentic self at work – regardless of nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical ability, age or economic background.
We're proud of our diverse, global workforce, but there's more to do. Our current gender split is 25% female to 75% male – in line with the SaaS average, but not where we want to be. Here's how we're improving it:
Even if you're only a 75% match for this role, we still want to hear from you — this list is indicative, and skills can always be learnt.
We're unable to offer sponsorship for this role, so you'll need existing eligibility to work in the country you're applying to.
By applying you accept the terms of our Data & Privacy notice.
