Fleet sales executive

At Virta, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to drive our business expansion in France with strong focus on the Fleet market. In this role, you will lead our sales activities for fleet customers, securing growth in the local market, and establishing Virta as a key player in the region.

You won’t be doing this alone—you’ll have the full support of our experienced sales teams across Europe and collaborate closely with our product and technology experts. You will report directly to Sales Director, Europe West.

What you’ll do

• Understand customer needs and educate them on how Virta’s comprehensive platform solution can help them build a successful EV charging business.
• Drive new sales development in France, focusing on acquiring new fleet customers and expanding market reach.
• Take ownership of the sales process and work towards achieving ambitious sales targets.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities, ensuring a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and forecasting to closing deals effectively.
• Work collaboratively with product development teams.

What You’ll Bring

You are a proven sales professional with a track record of successfully selling complex solutions in a SaaS or service-based organization. You have experience managing multiple sales cycles simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

As a self-starter, you take ownership of your work and are motivated by achieving and exceeding targets. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to engage with C-level executives in strategic discussions, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. You are solution-oriented, understand the value-based selling approach, and have a passion for technology, eager to develop a deep understanding of Virta’s products.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships, manage existing accounts, and close new deals.
• Strong understanding and existing network in the Fleet industry.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in the passenger car or heavy-duty fleet industry.
• Experience engaging with C-level decision-makers and other key stakeholders.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC / SPIN.
• Proficiency in digital sales tools like HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Expertise in creating compelling presentations, business proposals, and financial calculations, with the ability to lead discovery workshops using tools like Microsoft office suite and Claude.
• Strong appetite for working closely with Product teams to help shape and improve our software's features, bringing customer and field insights back into the roadmap.
• Fluent in English and French. Italian and Spanish skills are strong plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed (national and occasional international trips).
• Legal right to work in the EU.
