What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Engineer to build and maintain the code behind our quantitative research: data pipelines, analytical tooling and models, written to production standards and trusted by the people who use them.

You will work within the Quantitative Research team and collaborate with colleagues across functions such as data and technology. We value clean, tested and reproducible code, clear documentation and the early flagging of data-quality issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Quantitative code base: Build and maintain pipelines, analytical tooling and models with production-quality code, tests and documentation.
• Prototype to production: Turn research prototypes into reviewed, tested and scheduled code.
• Engineering standards: Adopt the team’s engineering standards: Git strategies, code reviews, testing and reproducibility.
• Verification: Build the checks, such as reconciliations, invariants and known-answer tests, that make every quantitative output trustworthy and repeatable.
• Data quality: Identify data-quality issues and upstream changes early, document them clearly and coordinate remediation with the relevant teams.

Qualifications:

• Typically 6 or more years in software or data engineering, including quantitative work.
• Python: Production-quality Python, including packaging, testing, typing and performance.
• Software engineering: Git workflows, code review and CI/CD.
• Software architecture: Hands-on experience designing and building data-intensive systems: modular components, clear interfaces, and sound trade-offs between performance, maintainability and cost.
• SQL: Advanced SQL on large analytical databases, ideally ClickHouse or other columnar stores.
• Data pipelines: Experience building scheduled, tested data pipelines, including orchestration.
• Statistics: Enough applied statistics to implement quantitative methods correctly and to recognise when a result is noise.
• Communication: Able to explain technical work clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field.

Desirable:

• Trading knowledge: Understanding of how a retail CFD and FX broker operates, including spreads, hedging and liquidity providers.
• Experience with MT4, MT5 or cTrader data, and with liquidity bridges or aggregators such as oneZero.
• Experience with tick-level market data.
• Experience running machine learning models in production, using tools such as scikit-learn or gradient boosting libraries.

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (Hybrid model after 2 months – 3 days from office, 2 days from home)
