Empowering careers at ARJO
At Arjo, we know what moves us. We go above and beyond for people facing mobility challenges. We take every opportunity to work and grow as one team and take pride in sharing our knowledge and experience. Does that sound like something that moves you too?
This could be your opportunity to begin a challenging and rewarding career in a healthcare company that empowers movement for people with mobility challenges.
At Arjo, we develop medical devices that improve patient mobility and support healthcare professionals in their daily work. Our Magog facility plays a key role in the design and manufacturing of floor and ceiling patient lift systems used in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the development and improvement of medical devices and their components throughout their entire lifecycle. You will work within a multidisciplinary team in an environment focused on innovation and technical problem-solving.
As part of the Product Development and Engineering team, you will contribute to the design, improvement, and technical support of our medical equipment, from the initial concept through manufacturing and market use.
This position requires an excellent command of French (Level 5/5) and a strong command of English (Level 4/5). These language skills are essential due to frequent interactions with development teams and business partners located across Arjo sites worldwide. English proficiency is required to coordinate projects, comply with international standards, and review technical documentation, which is often available only in English. This requirement is necessary to ensure successful performance in a global work environment.
At Arjo, we believe that empowering movement within healthcare environments is essential to quality care. Our products and solutions are designed to promote a safe and dignified experience through patient handling, medical beds, personal hygiene, disinfection, diagnostics, and the prevention of pressure injuries and venous thromboembolism. With over 6500 people worldwide and 65 years caring for patients and healthcare professionals, we are committed to driving healthier outcomes for people facing mobility challenges.
