Job Description:

This is a Castrol requisition and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence ahead of the Castrol divestment later in 2026. From the point of the divestment, you will be employed fully by Castrol and no longer be a bp employee.

Let me tell you about the role

In this journey you will be responsible of Brazil´s Automotive Lubricants product portfolio management and continuous improvement throughout product life-cycles, supporting the delivery of a high-performing products range that meets local customer needs, local market demands. You will be responsible for increasing portfolio performance, identifying product gaps in the existing portfolio driving innovation for growth, and working with cross-functional teams to fulfill these gaps. You will play a pivotal role in new product introductions, compliance, product governance, and supporting ongoing improvements to labels, claims, and packaging. In detail, your role is to analyze each lubricant category for meeting country business needs by:

• Finding opportunities of unmet segments according to the local lubricant market trends
• Portfolio Protection and Improvement Proposal for better benefit deliveries and profitability for Castrol
• Recommending portfolio regional alliances, working closely with peers in country or South America Region

You will report directly to South America Portfolio Manager and your daily basis is to play together with: Project Managers, Technology team, Customer&Channel team, Brand & Comms team, Supply Chain and Label Agencies, among other interested parties.

What you will deliver

You will be fully accountable to deliver:

Existing Portfolio Analysis by Lubricant Segment:

• identify gaps in the existing product portfolio and work with cross-functional teams including on sourcing opportunities to fulfill these gaps
• propose new products introduction according to new market trends
• Support the execution of the new product stage gate process, ensuring timely completions and seamless collaboration with the global Product Portfolio team, Supply Chain, Sales, and other key functions.
• Manage the Streamline/Fusion/ODIMS systems for the market for the product portfolio
• Product Launch Package: provide new product information (label, code, description, product data sheet) + Selling Story / Key Claims for End-User, Product Images and Data Sheet
• Continuous product Portfolio Health Review: to keep under control #skus and, ensure business profitability/health
• actively administer product life-cycles to ensure a strategic and profitable portfolio, managing the additions and deletions to the portfolio to simplify and evolve the range to maintain differentiation.

For these deliverables, you will participate directly and actively in regional and local project launches recurring meetings, by providing support to Portfolio Manager preparing launch cases, validating product information in label with Technology and Regulatory, coordinating with key team members and Project Managers.

Analyze and present performance dashboards as part of monthly product management review / PMR driving actions and optimizations as the need arises.

Finally, this position delivers critical / active support to Product Portfolio Manager in Brazil´s Annual Planning Process for support shaping next years lubricants innovation pipeline.

What you will need to be successful

Business Management or Industrial Engineering (can be other careers, but degree is mandatory)

Language Proficiency:

• Portuguese - Mandatory (Native level: Written & Spoken-Listening)
• English -Must (Advanced level: Written & Spoken-Listening)
• Spanish - Very Desirable / highly recommended, but not mandatory (Medium level: Spoken - Listening)

Skills:

• Analytical skills for decision taking based on hard data / numbers/ financial and risks assessment
• Sense of Urgency + Common Sense to speak up or raise concerns/risks when necessary
• Hands-on & Proactivity + One Team Attitude
• Communication skills for leading day to day tasks and Criteria to speak up whenever there are risks or help is needed
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Analytical perspective with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes
• MS Office Tools (specially Excel, Powerpoint)+ Capability to learn Castrol Power BI /Systems/ Tools
• Lubricant Market Experience: Very desirable / highly recommended (but not mandatory)
