RELYzIT Talent is seeking a Confirmed Java/Angular Developer for a high-impact freelance mission with our client, a central player in the digital transformation of the Belgian public sector. As a Confirmed Developer, you will contribute to the GIANI project—an initiative to modernize and standardize identity and access management interfaces. Your work will directly empower thousands of users, streamline secure access, and enable seamless digital experiences for public sector stakeholders. The stakes are high: your code will underpin critical infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for years to come.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with functional analysts, technical leads, and fellow developers to design robust, scalable application components aligned with defined architecture and standards.
• Develop and evolve both backend (Java/Spring Boot) and frontend (Angular) modules, ensuring clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Implement unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability and performance of delivered features.
• Refactor and enhance existing codebases to improve readability, maintainability, and system performance.
• Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement across the team.
• Prepare and deliver deployments across multiple environments, validating releases and adhering to established CI/CD processes.
• Ensure compliance with methodological and technological standards, contributing to technical debt reduction and system upgrades.
• Engage actively in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, collaborating daily with cross-functional teams to deliver on sprint commitments.
• Document key developments and share insights to foster a culture of learning and technical excellence.
• Communicate proactively with team leads, highlighting risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Other Requirements

• Freelance position: 3-month full-time mission (January to March), based in Brussels, Belgium
• Hybrid work model: minimum 50% on-site presence required
• Participation in Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Ability to work under the same conditions as internal staff, ensuring seamless integration with the client’s teams
