RELYzIT Talent is seeking an elite Analyst-Tester for a high-impact freelance assignment with our client, a leading force in public safety technology. As an Analyst-Tester, you will be pivotal in guaranteeing the integrity, security, and efficiency of these systems. What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, planning, and executing comprehensive test strategies for ANPR systems, including functional, technical, acceptance, and regression testing
• Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and IT/security teams to define test requirements and ensure robust system validation
• Drafting clear, actionable test plans and scenarios, and maintaining detailed documentation of test progress and outcomes
• Identifying, tracking, and documenting defects and findings, ensuring rapid resolution and continuous improvement
• Maintaining and enhancing automated testing frameworks to accelerate detection of issues and support efficient releases
• Preparing insightful reports and analyses on test results, progress, and system health for stakeholders
• Recommending optimal testing strategies, environments, and tools to maximize coverage and reliability
• Contributing to application documentation, including release notes and user guides
• Proactively identifying structural issues, improving work instructions, and updating documentation to reflect best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a proven track record in designing, executing, and documenting test plans and scenarios
• Solid understanding of IT systems and applications, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical environments
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical and detail-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple testing activities in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset
• Critical thinker who asks the right questions and pursues continuous learning and knowledge sharing
• Service- and user-oriented, with a commitment to thorough documentation and transparent reporting

Technical Skills

• Confirmed expertise in software testing: test plan creation, scenario development, and script execution
• Proficiency in defect tracking and documentation
• Experience with various test types: functional, technical, acceptance, regression
• Basic technical insight into IT systems and applications
• Familiarity with test data management and multiple test environments
• Knowledge of automated testing tools (junior to intermediate level)

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required
• Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus

Other Requirements

• Freelance position: Project duration is approximately 2 months (part-time, +/- 40 working days, schedule by mutual agreement)
• Partial remote work: Minimum 2 days per week on-site presence required; remote work permitted within Belgium
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Multidisciplinary team environment with both internal and external experts
• Experience in public sector or security-related projects is an advantage
