Missions/Main Duties

The role

In this role, you will support the design and delivery of major roads and highways projects, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality transport infrastructure outcomes.

• Deliver end-to-end concept and detailed designs for geometric road alignments, intersections, and civil infrastructure.
• Utilise industry-standard software (such as 12D and CAD) to review engineering models and documentation.
• Apply Austroads and TMR standards to ensure full project compliance.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare engineering reports, and assist with technical specifications.
• Collaborate with drafters, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• (Optional/Bonus) Contribute to minor stormwater and drainage design elements where required.

Profile/Skills

What We’re Looking For

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• 4 to 8 years of post-graduate experience specifically within Australian civil infrastructure, with a strong focus on roads and highways.
• Proven experience working with TMR specifications and Austroads guidelines or similar is highly regarded. Local experience is essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 12D is desirable, alongside familiarity with TMR-specific design software.
