This role is with CyberCX, part of Accenture.
CyberCX is looking for an experienced Strategic Accounts Director to join our Federal Government team in Canberra. This is a senior cyber security sales role. As an individual contributor, you will own and grow a portfolio of strategic Federal Government accounts, and lead the origination of new cyber security opportunities across agencies.
You’ll build trusted relationships with senior cyber security and technology leaders, understand the outcomes they’re accountable for, and bring together CyberCX’s cyber capabilities to help them strengthen their security posture, manage cyber risk and adopt new technologies, including AI, securely.
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, originating and shaping cyber opportunities well ahead of formal procurement, and leading multi-agency campaigns that take a proven cyber solution or insight and scale it across government, rather than pursuing opportunities one agency at a time.
As part of Accenture, many of our largest opportunities are integrated, multi-tower deals. In these pursuits you’ll lead the cyber security component, working alongside Accenture colleagues who lead the technology, cloud, data and AI elements, so that clients see one joined-up team.
If you thrive on building long-term partnerships, creating demand rather than waiting for it, and collaborating across a large organisation to win complex deals, this could be the role for you.
You’re an accomplished cyber security sales professional who builds credibility with senior government stakeholders, creates opportunities rather than waiting for them, and works effectively across organisational boundaries to win and deliver complex deals.
You’ll ideally bring:
CyberCX provides professional cyber security and cloud services across Australia and New Zealand, partnering with private and public sector organisations to help them manage cyber risk, respond to incidents and build resilience.
Our capabilities span consulting and advisory, governance, risk and compliance, incident response, penetration testing and assurance, network and infrastructure solutions, cloud security, identity and access management, managed security services and cyber security training.
As part of Accenture, our cyber expertise sits alongside Accenture’s global capabilities in strategy, technology, cloud, data and AI. This role gives you the opportunity to lead cyber for some of Australia’s most significant government clients, and to be part of integrated teams that bring the combined strength of both organisations to their biggest challenges.
If you’re passionate about government clients, cyber security and building partnerships that deliver meaningful outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
