The House of the Good Shepherd

Founded in Utica, New York to meet the needs of local children and families, The House of the Good Shepherd has grown into a comprehensive human service agency within the non-profit organization management industry. Each year, it provides treatment and support to more than 600 children and families facing serious emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, often after other options for keeping families together have been exhausted. Operating from a 27-acre campus at 1550 Champlin Ave, Utica, New York, the organization employs more than 290 staff members and is supported by over 200 volunteers and student interns. As a non-sectarian, non-profit corporation with 501(c)3 charitable status, The House of the Good Shepherd delivers its services without regard to ethnicity, religion, or financial status.
