The Arc of the Ozarks

The Arc of the Ozarks is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1964, originating from a small group of parents who in 1959 recognized the need for services for children with developmental disabilities. Headquartered at 1501 E. Pythian, Springfield, MO, the organization is part of the Individual and Family Services industry and employs more than 500 people. Its mission is to support individuals with disabilities in directing their own lives as valued members of the community, offering services such as residential support, education, training, day habilitation, therapeutic recreation, advocacy, autism services, employment assistance, and psychological counseling. The Arc of the Ozarks is affiliated with the Arc of the U.S., and its programs are accredited by CARF.
