Leslie's began in March 1963 as a one-man pool supply operation working out of a backyard shed in North Hollywood, California. Today, the company operates as Leslie's Poolmart, Inc., recognized as the world's largest retailer of swimming pool supplies, with more than 900 retail stores across 35 states, alongside a Commercial Division, Mail Order, and E-commerce Group. Operating in the retail industry, Leslie's provides a wide selection of pool and spa chemicals, pool cleaners, equipment, cleaning accessories, and inflatables and floats, along with free in-store water testing and free in-store labor on repairs at every location. The company is headquartered at 2005 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85016, US, and employs more than 2,800 people.
