Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Roxbury, Massachusetts, Casa Esperanza, Inc. is a bilingual, bi-cultural human services organization specializing in mental health care for the Latino community. Its mission is to empower individuals and families to recover from substance use disorder, trauma, mental illness, and other chronic conditions, overcome homelessness, and achieve health and wellness through comprehensive, integrated care. The organization offers residential recovery programs for men and women, including housing for young children, as well as Familias Unidas, the only Spanish-language Structured Outpatient Addictions Program in Greater Boston. Additional services include 37 units of supportive, sober housing across several sites and Conexiones, a 24-hour clinical stabilization program providing nursing care, therapy, and case management. Casa Esperanza employs more than 100 people dedicated to delivering culturally responsive, integrated care.
