Carroll Lutheran Village - a Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland Community

Carroll Lutheran Village is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 continuing care retirement community located just outside Westminster, MD, within convenient distance of Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C. Founded in the mid-1970s by Lutheran pastors and lay leaders to serve older adults of all faiths, the community has grown steadily since opening its first cottages in 1980, later adding a health care center, apartment buildings, a chapel, memory care, and assisted living wings. Further expansion in 2005 and 2006 brought additional apartments and homes to the campus. Today, Carroll Lutheran Village offers a range of living options, wellness-focused amenities, and on-site services including assisted living, rehabilitation, therapy, and long-term care. As part of the Hospitals and Health Care industry, the community employs more than 140 staff members dedicated to guiding residents through every stage of retirement living.
