Allied Maker

Allied Maker is a design and manufacturing studio in the design services industry, headquartered in Glen Cove, New York. Founded in 2012 by designer Ryden Rizzo, the company employs more than 30 people. Every lighting piece is handcrafted in Allied Maker’s workshop in collaboration with leading New York fabricators, reflecting a commitment to high-quality, long-lasting products made in the USA. Drawing inspiration from raw materials that gain character over time, the studio uses hand-applied blackening techniques and brass that develops a natural patina with use. Allied Maker’s fixtures appear in boutique hotels and residential and commercial projects worldwide, and have been featured in publications such as Elle Decor, Dwell, Architectural Digest, NY Magazine, and Domaine Home.
