The Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (VIOP) Case Manager/Group Facilitator provides ongoing care coordination, advocacy, resource support, engagement support, and recovery-oriented services for individuals participating in virtual substance use treatment services. This position assists individuals in reducing barriers to treatment engagement, recovery stability, emotional wellness, and independent functioning while coordinating care between internal providers, legal systems, social service agencies, recovery supports, and community resources.
This position plays a critical role in supporting client retention, attendance, discharge planning, relapse prevention, and overall recovery stabilization within a telehealth treatment environment. The VIOP Case Manager also assists clients in navigating telehealth platforms and reducing technology-related barriers that may interfere with treatment participation and continuity of care. Additionally, this position supports virtual group operations by assisting with attendance monitoring, engagement support, client communication, crisis escalation concerns, observed oral toxicology screening procedures, and coordination with clinical staff during treatment services.
Required: HS Diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Human Services field.
CDCA license valid in the state of Ohio is required.
Preferred 3+ years of experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, with a strong understanding of case management and community resource connections.
1 year of Case Management experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team and engage clients in both individual and group-based treatment environments.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health and substance use treatment, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous quality improvement.
Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice and program development.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in addiction recovery services.
Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar.
Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills.
Advanced abilities with Microsoft & Google products.
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
